Dr. Phelan has been in practice 18 years. He successfully treats disc herniations, neck and arm pain, low back pain and sciatica, auto injuries, headaches, TMJ and fibromyalgia. Nutritional, counseling and exercise rehabilitation are provided. Primary care and specialist referrals are made in a timely manner.

Dr. Phelan founded the first private chiropractic practice in a University in the United States in Los Angeles where he taught and practiced until 1995. He served on the NC Industrial Commission Advisory Council. He was given the NCCA Doctor of the Year Award in 2002 and the Member of the Year Award in 1999, 2001 and 2007. He is also a published author on the treatment of the spine and efficacy of chiropractic care.
